Job Description

Manager Ads Sales Planning

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & strengthen collaborative planning/Key Account Planning to support Ads sales/key account managers (KAMs) to achieve their monthly targets
  • Implement a methodical forecasting approach that effectively captures assumptions changes, risks and opportunities, and uses multiple views to converge to a viable consensus demand plan. Ensure a robust handoff to Ads KAMs to action insights that will ensure DRR increase and increase revenues
  • Use the above model to identify risks and provide timely suggestions/actionable insights for Ads/KAMs to move/optimize
  • Partner with relevant teams to create marketing offers for different/relevant feature adoption
  • Work with Ads KAM teams to understand product/feature feedback and build a POV on how the product should evolve
  • Work with Ads Product teams to discuss ideas and implement changes/revamp features
  • Track feature adoption metrics on a month on month and build plans to grow them to a steady state metric
  • Facilitate a demand planning culture that ensures that monthly forecast submission deadlines are respected, which drives key performance objectives of forecast accuracy and sales plan stability
  • Employ an effective demand segmentation strategy to focus on key products and key customers while using statistical forecast as basis for the rest of the volume
  • Drive demand planning business process excellence through standardized and meaningful processes and aids, aligned with Ads leadership

Requirements:-

  • 3 to 5 years experience in Ad Sales, B2B Sales in leading the advertising or revenue function in mid- to large-scale organizations of repute (e-com or q-com industry preferred)
  • Knowledge in media sales
  • Good interpersonal communication skills to work with cross functional teams
