Admissions Counselor

Role Overview: As an Admission Counsellor, you will be responsible for guiding prospective students and parents through the admission process. Your role will involve providing accurate information about courses, eligibility, career prospects, and institutional policies. You will play a crucial part in handling inquiries, converting leads into admissions, and supporting the institution's outreach and enrollment goals. Key Responsibilities: - Respond promptly to student and parent inquiries via phone, email, or in person. - Counsel students on academic programs, career paths, and admission procedures. - Follow up with leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, and walk-ins. - Assist applicants with the admission process, including application forms, documentation, and deadlines. - Maintain a database of inquiries, applications, and conversions in the CRM system. - Participate in admission events, education fairs, school visits, and outreach programs. - Achieve monthly and annual admission/enrollment targets. - Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders. - Provide regular reports on lead conversion, student feedback, and market trends. - Stay updated on competitors, market dynamics, and student expectations. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in any discipline. - 3-5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or student recruitment (higher education sector). Additional Details: The working conditions for this role include a full-time, on-campus position with occasional travel for outreach activities.
