Admissions Counsellor

You will be responsible for managing the student recruitment process, guiding prospective students and their families through the application process, and representing the school in various outreach efforts. Your key responsibilities include: - Representing the school at fairs, open houses, school visits, and other recruitment events. - Developing and maintaining relationships with prospective students, parents, and educational consultants. - Conducting outreach efforts via phone, email, and social media to engage with potential applicants. - Guiding applicants through the admissions process, providing information about programs, deadlines, and requirements. - Reviewing and evaluating student applications, including transcripts, test scores, and recommendation letters. - Conducting interviews with prospective students and their families to assess fit and answer questions. - Organizing and coordinating campus tours, information sessions, and other admissions-related events. - Assisting in the planning and execution of orientation programs for new students. - Maintaining accurate records of all applicant interactions and application materials. - Utilizing admissions software to track application statuses and generate reports for the admissions team. - Analyzing trends in admissions data to inform recruitment strategies. - Working closely with faculty, staff, and other departments to coordinate recruitment and retention efforts. - Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to the development of admissions policies and strategies. - Collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. - Providing exceptional customer service to prospective students and their families, answering inquiries in a timely and professional manner. - Addressing concerns and providing solutions to ensure a positive experience throughout the admissions process. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in education, marketing, communication, or a related field. - Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related role is preferred. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Familiarity with admissions software and data management tools is a plus. - Willingness to travel for recruitment events and work occasional evenings and weekends.
