Admission Counsellor – Oak Lyceum international school At Oak Lyceum, admissions begin with warmth, clarity, and trust. The Admission Counsellor plays a key role in welcoming families, helping them understand our approach, and guiding them smoothly from enquiry to enrolment. Role Summary The Admission Counsellor represents Oak Lyceum’s values—joy in learning, clarity in communication, and a child-centred approach. The role ensures every parent feels informed, heard, and supported as they explore our school. Key Responsibilities 1. Parent Engagement Serve as the first warm point of contact for all enquiries via call, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins. Share Oak Lyceum’s philosophy, learning culture, and programs in a clear and engaging way. Conduct personalised school tours that highlight our environment, values, and child-friendly spaces. 2. Admission Coordination Explain admission steps, documentation, fee details, and timelines. Schedule and coordinate student interactions and assessments. Assist parents through application and onboarding with clarity and patience. 3. Follow-Up & Conversion Maintain a structured follow-up plan for all leads. Build positive rapport with families and support their decision-making process. Achieve enrolment targets aligned with Oak Lyceum’s growth plan. 4. Records & Reporting Maintain accurate admission data and files using digital tools/ERP. Prepare enquiry and conversion reports for the admissions team. 5. Collaboration Work closely with academics, administration, transport, and finance teams to ensure a smooth parent experience. Support marketing and outreach efforts—events, campaigns, and community engagement. Skills & Qualities We Value at Oak Lyceum Warm, approachable personality with strong communication skills. Ability to explain information clearly and confidently. Professional grooming and positive attitude. Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail. Comfort with digital tools (CRM, Excel, WhatsApp communication). Fluency in English; local language proficiency is a plus. Qualification & Experience 1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. 2. 1–3 years experience in admissions, counselling, customer service, or related roles—preferably in schools.
