About the Role

ACE Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities

Agile Facilitation & Coaching

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams within the ACE (Agile Center of Excellence) framework.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach the team and organization in Agile/Scrum practices, scaling frameworks, and continuous delivery.

Azure DevOps (ADO) Management

• Utilize ADO for backlog management, sprint tracking, metrics, and reporting.
• Set up and manage dashboards, queries, and reports to track delivery progress and KPIs.
• Ensure ADO boards reflect accurate and up-to-date work items, dependencies, and priorities.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and Business Stakeholders to ensure clear prioritization and transparency of work.
• Communicate delivery status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership teams.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and address process gaps, removing impediments to enhance team performance.
• Drive adoption of Agile best practices, tools, and metrics across teams.

Delivery Excellence

• Align with ACE governance standards to ensure consistency in Agile delivery.
• Support cross-team coordination in large-scale programs, ensuring dependencies are managed.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Agile Expertise

• 10+ years of IT industry experience with at least 5 years as a dedicated Scrum Master.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in Agile transformation initiatives.

Azure DevOps Mastery

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting.
• Ability to configure ADO boards, pipelines, dashboards, and automated reports.

Leadership & Communication

• Exceptional facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
• Azure DevOps certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert) is a plus.
