It is essential to ensure that invoices are accurately processed in a timely manner, adhering to the relevant policies and procedures. You will be tasked with identifying and rectifying any erroneous VAT inputs, including foreign invoices. Additionally, preparing supplier reconciliations and addressing outstanding items to ensure proper recording on the system will be part of your role. Handling and resolving queries received, as well as providing excellent customer service to both business departments and suppliers in accordance with agreed service level agreements, are vital aspects of the position. Collaborating closely with colleagues to meet the group's requirements and supporting improvements in the efficiency of the AP function and service provided to stakeholders will also be expected. Furthermore, promptly communicating and escalating potential issues to the team lead for resolution, meeting specified Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements, and following instructions from superiors are crucial components of the role. The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications and characteristics: - Proficiency in English communication - Willingness to work in different time zones, particularly EU/US - Preferably 1-2 years of experience in standard AP processing and query procedures - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with knowledge of SAP being advantageous - Professional demeanor with strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to collaborate effectively with team members - Strong organizational and prioritization skills, particularly in a dynamic environment - Proactive problem-solving approach and a focus on enhancing process efficiency At our company, we value diversity and prioritize inclusivity.
