About The Job

The Accounts Payable Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day vendor payments, invoice verification, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role ensures that all payments are processed on time while complying with company policies and statutory requirements.You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to validate invoices, track outstanding payables, and prepare payment schedules. The role also involves managing expense claims, monitoring cash outflow, and supporting the month-end closing process.To excel in this position, you should be organized, detail-driven, and efficient in handling multiple tasks. You will contribute to improving process accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring seamless financial operations across the company.

Roles And Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices with accuracy and verify supporting documents.
Maintain vendor ledgers and reconcile balances regularly.
Ensure timely payments to vendors as per payment terms.
Track advance payments, credit notes, and pending invoices.
Coordinate with internal teams for invoice approvals.
Prepare AP ageing reports and assist in cash-flow planning.
Handle petty cash reimbursements and employee expense claims.
Support month-end closing and audits.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience, preferably in a start-up or CA firm environment.
Good understanding of accounts payable processes and GST basics.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting tools (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks or similar).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good coordination and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced set-up.
