Accounts Manager – Kolkata Branch Office About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager with a strong background in corporate accounting to manage the finance and accounting operations at our Kolkata branch office. The ideal candidate will bring maturity, clarity in accounting principles, and hands-on expertise across multiple functions including GST, payroll, and vendor management. This is a pivotal role that requires ownership, responsibility, and a thorough understanding of end-to-end accounting processes.

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations at the Kolkata branch office.
  • Handle GST compliance, filings, and reconciliations.
  • Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
  • Review and approve vendor bills, payments, and vendor onboarding.
  • Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the corporate head office for reporting and audits (no responsibility for finalisation or TDS
  • Maintain accurate and updated accounting records.
  • Provide timely reports to management on key financial metrics.

What are we looking for?

  • Only MALE candidates required.
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in a corporate accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, payroll, and vendor processes.
  • A mature professional with the ability to work independently and manage responsibilities at a branch office level.

Qualification:

B.Com (Mandatory)/ M.Com

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders effectively.
