Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions.
Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Accounting & Reporting

Oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
Manage external audits and maintain robust internal controls.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Cost & Treasury Management

Manage treasury functions, cash flow, and banking relationships.
Optimize working capital and monitor foreign exchange exposure.
Lead cost accounting to ensure accurate product costing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Oversee fixed asset management and capital expenditure planning.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure tax compliance and manage regulatory filings.
Maintain a strong risk management framework and internal audit systems.
Stay updated on accounting and regulatory changes, implementing updates as needed.
Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives.
Represent the company in financial negotiations and external discussions.
Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
