Role & responsibilities This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant, for pharmaceutical manufacturing and trading firm(export oriented), located in Andheri West, Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing general ledger transactions, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. He will be responsible till finalising the balance sheet and for filing GST and TDS returns. He has to have exposure in managing the CC and term loan accounts with the bank and be able to make the CMA data and managing forward contracts of exports . The Senior Accountant will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, as well as analyzing financial data to support decision-making processes. Preferred candidate profile Key Responsibilities: Prepare and finalize financial statements up to the balance sheet for income tax. Manage general ledger transactions and reconcile accounts. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory regulations. Handle GST and TDS returns and related compliance. Manage cash credit (CC) and term loan accounts with banks. Prepare CMA data and liaise with banks for financial requirements. Manage forward contracts related to exports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decision-making. Proficiency in accounting software ( Tally).
