Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant who can independently handle accounts, taxation, and statutory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining books of accounts, GST filings, payroll processing, and cost center accounting using Tally and statutory compliance activities.

The candidate must be proficient in Tally Prime and Excel, with practical knowledge of GST return filings, TDS, PF/ESI compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime (sales, purchase, journal, receipts, payments, and contra entries).
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor/customer reconciliations.
• Monthly GST filings – GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, 2B reconciliation.
• TDS report preparation & return filing.
• Payroll processing in Tally with PF & ESI challan generations.
• Handle petty cash, expense tracking & MIS reports.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Ensure timely tax payments and maintain proper documentation for all statutory filings.

Candidate Profile

• Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime (mandatory).
• Good command over MS Excel (formulas, payroll sheets, reconciliation)
• Good understanding of tax regulations and statutory compliance.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and related filings.
• Knowledge of PF, ESI, and Factories Act compliances will be an added advantage.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
• Ability to handle accounts independently in a manufacturing setup.
