Position: Accounts Executive

Function: Finance & Accounting

Reporting to: Accounts Manager

Experience: 0-2 Yrs

Location: Kolkata

Highest Qualification: B.Com

Type of Working: Office

NowPurchase is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive to support our finance team with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry & Bookkeeping:

  • Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (Bills, Invoices, Debit Notes, Credit Notes, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations while recording transactions.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Ensure all entries are correctly categorized and comply with accounting standards.
  • Verify and match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Bank & Ledger Reconciliation:
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and rectify discrepancies.
  • Expense Management:
  • Track and manage company expenses.
  • Verify and process employee expense claims accurately.

Other Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

Desired Attributes:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
