The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting the accounts team in daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. This role supports senior accountants and contributes to smooth financial operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries (Purchase, Sales, Payment, Receipt, Journal).
Update and reconcile ledgers, bank statements, and cash books.
Assist with monthly closing activities and financial reports.
Prepare invoices, bills, credit notes, and debit notes.
Verify vendor bills and process payments on time.
Support GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
Assist in preparing data for audits (internal & external).
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments for account-related queries.
Support senior accountants in any additional tasks as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/ M.Com) or related field.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles (Tally/ERP knowledge preferred).
Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table preferred).
Good communication and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Bhanpuri, Raipur, Chhattisgarh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
