Job Description

Key Responsibilities Recording Financial Transactions: Accurately recording daily financial transactions, such as cash receipts, payments, and invoices, in the company's accounting system. Invoice Processing: Processing and verifying invoices, ensuring accurate payment to vendors and suppliers. Bank Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements with the company's financial records to ensure accuracy. Maintaining Financial Records: Keeping detailed and organized financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents. Assisting with Financial Reporting: Helping senior accountants prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Supporting Budget Preparation: Contributing to the budget preparation process by gathering and analyzing financial data. Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable: Ensuring timely payments to suppliers and accurate receipt of payments from customers. Compliance with Regulations: Assisting with tax compliance by preparing and submitting tax returns and ensuring timely payments. Supporting Audits: Gathering and presenting relevant financial documents and records during financial audits. Administrative Support: Handling general administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and filing documents. Skills And Qualifications Basic Accounting Knowledge: A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential. Proficiency in Accounting Software: Familiarity with accounting software like Tally Prime is highly desirable. Data Entry Skills: Accuracy and speed in data entry are crucial for this role. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial records and reports is a key responsibility. Organizational Skills: Maintaining organized financial records and managing multiple tasks effectively. Communication Skills: Communicating effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
