Job Summary

The Accounts Executive – Accounts Receivable is responsible for managing the company’s receivables, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and accurate accounting of customer payments. The role focuses on maintaining healthy cash flow, reconciling customer accounts, and supporting month-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on timeRecord and allocate incoming payments (cheques, bank transfers, online payments, etc.)Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue paymentsCoordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepanciesReconcile customer accounts and investigate payment differencesMaintain proper documentation for invoices, receipts, and credit notesPrepare periodic AR reports, including ging analysis and collection statusAssist in month-end and year-end closing related to receivablesEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsSupport internal and external audits by providing required documentation

Skills

Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processesProficiency in accounting software (Tally)Good understanding of accounting principlesStrong analytical and reconciliation skillsAttention to detail and accuracyEffective communication and follow-up skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field2–4 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or accounting roles
