Accounts Executive / Accountant – Real Estate

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts professional to manage the financial operations of our real estate company. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, monitoring project finances, managing client/vendor accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts (ledgers, journals, vouchers, etc.) in compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, client invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, project expenses, and maintain records of advances given/received.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances and filings.
• Coordinate with banks for loans, project funding, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Manage payroll processing and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, etc., if applicable).
• Support management with budgeting, financial projections, and MIS reporting.
• Handle RERA compliance-related accounting documentation (if applicable).
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (M.Com / CA Inter preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Tally / ERP accounting software and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, RERA norms, and other compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
