Accounts Assistant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations in our pathology lab. The role involves managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciling financial records, handling petty cash, and supporting compliance and audit processes. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, and experienced in healthcare or service industry accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain general ledger and record all financial transactions accurately and timely in Tally.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and client invoicing.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash flow, and petty cash on a regular basis.
• Handle daily petty cash disbursements and documentation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and expense tracking.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Maintain vendor records, payment cycles, and support inventory cost tracking.
• Support billing operations related to corporate and B2B clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com/M.Com preferred). (must)
• 2–5 years of accounting experience; healthcare or pathology lab experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software. (must)
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other financial regulations.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience working in a diagnostic lab or hospital setup.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Familiarity with financial audits and internal controls in the healthcare sector.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
