Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our entire accounting operations. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in all financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/quarterly/year-end closing reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other government filings.
• Handle budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and expense monitoring.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities as required.
• Monitor internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance/training where needed.
• Assist management in financial decision-making through data-driven insights and analysis.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure the accuracy of all financial data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/ICWA/MBA preferred).
• Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in an accounting or senior accounting role.
• Complete knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
