Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to handle daily financial tasks efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update general ledger and financial records Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies Process accounts payable and receivable Assist with budget preparation and financial planning Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations Manage payroll, tax filings, and end-of-year tax forms. Support audits and provide necessary documentation Analyze financial data and provide insights or recommendations Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven work experience as an accountant or similar role Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or Xero) Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Excellent organizational and time-management skills High attention to detail and accuracy CPA or equivalent certification is a plus Working Conditions: Office-based with standard working hours; may require occasional overtime during reporting periods Remote or hybrid work may be considered based on company policy Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹10,521.75 - ₹15,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
