Job Description

The Accountant will manage the financial activities of the facility management operations, ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and analysis of financial transactions. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a good understanding of budgeting, cost control, and vendor payment cycles in the facility management industry. Prepare, examine, and maintain financial records for facility operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries. Track and reconcile expenses related to building maintenance, utilities, housekeeping, security services, and other facility management activities. Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments to contractors and service providers. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and monthly/quarterly financial reports for management review. Monitor spending and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements. Support internal and external audits by providing required financial information and documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and relevant accounting standards. Coordinate with the procurement and facility teams to validate vendor contracts and work orders. Assist in preparing MIS reports and dashboards for facility expenses and cost allocations. Maintain accurate records of assets and depreciation related to facilities and equipment.
