Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee our company’s financial data, including daily accounting tasks, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and excellent organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Handle accounts payable and receivable Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting Assist in budgeting and forecasting Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations Process tax returns and support internal and external audits Coordinate with the finance team and management to improve financial procedures Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, MS Excel) Knowledge of tax laws and compliance procedures Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and time management skills Preferred Skills: Experience with GST filing, TDS, EPF and ESI Familiarity with payroll processing Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Benefits: Leave encashment Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
