Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance department in managing daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance processes while gaining valuable experience in accounting practices and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Help manage accounts payable and receivable
• Assist in preparing tax documents and ensuring compliance with applicable laws
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Provide support for audits and financial reviews
• Perform administrative tasks related to the finance department as needed
• Collaborate with senior accountants to improve financial procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or practical experience in an accounting environment
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Experience with Tally
