Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and experience working with various accounting software platforms. Duties

• Prepare, analyze, and interpret complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage general ledger accounting processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and account analyses to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities by providing insightful analysis and data-driven recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records using various accounting software.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements within the finance department by mentoring junior staff and sharing best practices in accounting procedures.
• Support tax preparation activities by providing necessary documentation and insights based on tax experience and financial data analysis.
• Participate in special projects related to financial management, cash flow analysis, or securities law compliance as needed.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Any degree 10/12 pass
• 2+ years experience in accounting or public accounting environments with a strong foundation in financial concepts.
• Demonstrated expertise working with diverse accounting software including Tally, proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
