Accountant R2R

Role Overview: As an Accountant R2R at SKF in Chinchwad, Pune, your role involves efficiently maintaining and processing record to report transactions for the assigned entity/geography. You will be reporting to the Sr. Accountant R2R and will be working as an individual contributor. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the General Ledger (GL), ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions. - Complete reconciliations for all GL accounts, identify reconciling items, and clear them with accuracy. - Ensure compliance with internal controls for all processes. - Perform intercompany reconciliations and address any differences. - Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and schedules, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis on a monthly basis with high accuracy. - Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations. - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and reconciliations. - Coordinate with business stakeholders, O2C team, and P2P team to provide requirements on a timely basis for decision-making and process improvement. - Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes and controls, proposing and implementing efficient solutions for enhanced accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity. Qualification Required: - CA/ICWA qualified with 0-2 years of experience in accounting. - Relevant experience/knowledge in reputed Captive/Outsourcing RTR Ops. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Excel knowledge. - Preferably with exposure to SAP for 1+ years. - Experience in stakeholder management. - Knowledge of Quality Lean/Process Improvement.
