Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, based in New Delhi. The responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounting operations, handling tax compliance (including GST and Income Tax), maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and assisting with audit and budget preparations. The role also involves ensuring accurate bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with team members to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing financial statements, maintaining general accounting records, and managing bookkeeping processes.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance, including GST, Income Tax, and corporate taxation laws, as well as basic understanding of International Taxation and IFRS (Ind AS).
• Analytical skills for processing, interpreting, and reporting financial data accurately and effectively.
• Adept at using accounting software and tools, along with proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Chartered Accountant certification or equivalent qualification, along with prior relevant experience, is preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
