Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally Prime / ERP, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update books of accounts (Sales, Purchase, Payments, Receipts, Journal entries).
• Prepare and finalize monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Manage GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9) and handle reconciliation of input credits.
• Compute and file TDS returns, verify challans, and maintain related records.
• Process vendor and customer payments and reconcile bank statements regularly.
• Handle cost center accounting, payroll entries, and expense management.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory regulations.
• Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and MIS reports.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
• Proficiency in Tally Prime / ERP, MS Excel, and accounting automation tools.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical mindset.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in manufacturing, trading, or service industry accounting.
• Exposure to cost center reporting and profitability analysis

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
