Job Title: Accountant (Import Documentation & E-commerce Specialist)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant who has hands-on expertise in import documentation and e-commerce accounting. The ideal candidate must have worked in a company where they were responsible for managing import-related compliances, shipping/clearing documents, and online marketplace reconciliations (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Handle import documentation including Bill of Entry, LC, shipping, and customs clearance records.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts as per statutory requirements.
• Manage GST filing, TDS, and other taxation-related compliances.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of e-commerce transactions (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.).
• Track vendor payments, invoices, and credit/debit notes.
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and banks for import-related transactions.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial analysis, and audit support.
• Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, and other applicable import/export regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in accounting with specialization in import documentation and e-commerce.
• Strong knowledge of Tally / ERP / MS Excel.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other Indian accounting standards.
• Experience working with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
