Job Description

As a Professional Accountant with minimum 2 years of previous working experience, you will be responsible for managing key financial activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting operational decision-making through accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor and report on production costs, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing variances and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, providing insights based on manufacturing performance.
Support audits and tax filings with thorough documentation and reporting.
Implement and improve internal financial controls and processes related to production and inventory.

Preferred Qualifications:

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)
Focus: Financial accounting, taxation, business law, and auditing.
BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) – Finance/Accounting Specialization
Tally ERP / Tally Prime Certification – Often mandatory for entry/mid-level roles in SMEs and manufacturing firms.
Advanced Excel / Financial Modeling Courses – Increasingly expected for analytical roles.
