Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & FinanceMaintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Bank, cash, and vendor reconciliations Monitor accounts payable and receivable Assist in budgeting and financial analysis Direct TaxationComputation of Income Tax for individuals, firms, LLPs, and companies Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns TDS compliance – calculation, deduction, deposit, returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) Handling Income Tax notices, assessments, and reconciliations with Form 26AS / AIS Indirect Taxation (GST)GST registration, amendments, and cancellations Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C) GST reconciliation with books and GSTR-2B Handling GST notices, audits, and departmental queries Knowledge of e-invoicing and e-way bills Statutory Compliance & AuditEnsure compliance with Companies Act / LLP Act (as applicable) Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax auditors, and consultants Support internal and external audits Maintain statutory records and documentation Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of Income Tax Act & GST laws Hands-on experience with Tally / Zoho Books / ERP systems Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple clients / tasks Preferred Candidate ProfileExperience in CA firm or tax consultancy preferred Exposure to multi-state GST compliance Good communication and coordination skills
