Accountant

We are looking for a meticulous and responsible Accountant to manage the company’s day-to-day financial operations in compliance with Indian accounting and taxation standards. The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and support management in decision-making through accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements such as balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
• Handle GST filing, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances within prescribed timelines.
• Assist in preparation and finalization of books of accounts at year-end.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of vouchers, invoices, and other financial records.
• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and inter-company accounts regularly.
• Support budgeting, cost analysis, and financial forecasting activities.
• Keep updated with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and MCA regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or higher in Accounting/Finance.
• CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and knowledge of accounting software such as Zoho Books
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in handicraft industry.
• Working knowledge of ROC filing, PF, ESI, and payroll compliance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
