Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant based in Chennai. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data. Day-to-day tasks will also include bookkeeping, accounts reconciliation, budgeting, auditing, and supporting overall financial management to ensure the organization’s fiscal health. The role requires a keen eye for detail and organizational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong financial management skills, including Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Analysis
• Proficiency in Budgeting, Auditing, and Accounts Reconciliation
• Familiarity with relevant financial software and tools (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, MS Excel)
• Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and reporting
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications like CPA, CMA, or CA (preferred but not required)
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or automotive industry setting is a plus
