Key Responsibilities:

• Book-keeping & Data Entry:
• Maintain daily accounting records using our customized ERP software.
• Enter full truckload details and update entries with the availability of relevant documents.
• Invoice Management:
• Generate invoices based on load details.
• Email invoices to relevant clients and parties promptly.
• Banking & Payment Processing:
• Prepare daily bulk bank payment files in a predefined Excel format.
• Enter payment details in the ERP software.
• Reconcile bank statements and track incoming/outgoing payments.
• Document Management:
• Upload Proof of Delivery (POD) and other vehicle-related documents to the ERP system.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting:
• Conduct weekly and monthly performance analysis.
• Identify and monitor accounts receivable and payable.
• Assist in yearly audits and the preparation of final financial statements including:
• Trading Account
• Profit & Loss Statement
• Balance Sheet

Training & Support:

• 1 to 2 weeks of comprehensive training will be provided on our ERP software.
• Ongoing support and guidance from the business owners.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Prior experience in transport/logistics industry is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Candidate requirements:

• Experience- 2 years+
• Good communication skills
• Good grasp and command in finance and accounts department
• Skills required: MS Office, Tally ERP, Technical skills
• Graduate in any discipline (preferably commerce background)
• Knowledge about transport sector
