About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage and oversee financial transactions, compliance, and reporting for our growing e-commerce brand. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and e-commerce marketplace reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Record all day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, returns, expenses, payments, etc.)
• Maintain ledgers, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Marketplace & Payment Reconciliation
• Reconcile sales, returns, commissions, and charges from platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.)
• Track payment settlements from payment gateways (Razorpay, PayU, etc.).
• Taxation & Compliance
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
• Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze expenses, sales margins, and profitability.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
• Vendor & Inventory Management
• Track vendor payments, credit notes, and settlements.
• Assist in inventory valuation and stock reconciliation.
• Audit & Process Improvement
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documents.
• Suggest improvements for financial processes and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Proven experience (1–3 years) in accounting, preferably in e-commerce/retail/startups.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and general taxation.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Good Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis & reporting.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving attitude, and ability to work independently.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
