Job Description

The Experienced Accountant will be responsible for financial management, strategic reporting, and internal controls, working alongside our existing team to ensure the academy's fiscal health and support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Conduct variance analysis and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like batch profitability and fee collection trends.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development of the annual operating budget and provide regular financial forecasts to management.
Internal Controls & Audit: Develop and enforce strong internal financial controls and policies. Coordinate and facilitate internal and external financial audits.
Fee Management & Treasury: Oversee and manage the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring efficient and accurate student fee collection and bank reconciliations.
Compliance Support: Collaborate with the tax team to ensure all financial records are accurate and support timely statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.).

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the education or services sector.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. CA/CMA/MBA Finance preferred.
Skills: Expertise in Tally ERP and Advanced Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables). Strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
