Job Description

The Accountant cum Cashier is responsible for managing daily accounting activities, handling cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and efficiency in handling company finances. Key Responsibilities:Handle daily cash and bank transactions. Maintain books of accounts (ledger, journal, vouchers, etc.) accurately. Prepare and verify bills, invoices, and receipts. Record and reconcile petty cash and bank balances. Support in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Manage customer and vendor payments, both incoming and outgoing. Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records. Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary financial data. Monitor and report cash flow status regularly. Assist management in budgeting and expense control. Skills & Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field. Proven experience in accounting and cashier operations (1–3 years preferred). Knowledge of Tally / ERP / MS Excel and other accounting software. Good numerical and analytical skills. Strong sense of accuracy, responsibility, and confidentiality. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
