Job Description

Job Purpose:

To manage and monitor all financial transactions related to the F&B operations at the unit level, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, cost control, and compliance with internal and statutory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:1. Daily Accounting Operations

  • Record all F&B-related transactions including purchases, issues, sales, and expenses.
  • Maintain day-to-day accounts including entries of vendor invoices, internal indents, and petty cash expenses.
  • Reconcile daily sales and collection reports from cafeterias, restaurants, and food counters.

2. Cost & Consumption Analysis

  • Monitor food cost, beverage cost, and other operational expenditures.
  • Track and analyze kitchen consumption vs. sales output.
  • Highlight variances or abnormal trends to the unit head or finance manager.

3. Vendor Payment Processing

  • Verify and process F&B supplier invoices against purchase orders and GRNs.
  • Ensure timely submission of bills for payment processing and maintain vendor aging reports.
  • Coordinate with central finance team for approvals and disbursements.

4. Inventory & Stock Accounting

  • Support the store team in monthly physical stock verification.
  • Account for wastage, spoilage, expired stock, and returns appropriately.
  • Maintain stock valuation reports and assist in stock audits.

5. Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports (consumption, P&L, cost sheet, etc.)
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and audit readiness.
  • Support internal and external auditors during reviews and data requests.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting and financial principles
  • Good understanding of F&B costing, inventory flow, and vendor payments
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, or ERP-based accounting systems
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an F&B/hospitality/hospital setting
  • Familiarity with food cost control and store systems is an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
