Job Summary:

The Guest Relation Executive (GRE) in Patient Dining Services plays a key role in enhancing the patient's food experience by ensuring timely, accurate, and personalized meal service. This role involves direct interaction with patients to understand their dietary requirements, take meal orders, coordinate with the kitchen and dietitians, and ensure high standards of hygiene, taste, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit patient rooms to take daily meal orders based on the prescribed diet chart.
  • Explain available meal options clearly, considering dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences.
  • Liaise with the dietician to clarify or confirm specific dietary requirements.
  • Ensure meal orders are correctly placed and delivered on time to the right patients.
  • Address patient feedback or concerns regarding food quality, temperature, or presentation.
  • Track patient satisfaction levels related to food and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen, dietary team, and housekeeping to ensure hygienic food handling and delivery.
  • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with patients and their families.
  • Keep accurate records of patient meal orders, preferences, and special instructions.
  • Support patient education efforts about nutritional aspects of their meals, as guided by the dietician.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong sense of hygiene, nutrition awareness, and service etiquette
  • Basic knowledge of therapeutic diets and food allergens
  • Attention to detail in order-taking and service coordination
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with patients and families
  • Familiarity with food service software or hospital management systems (preferred)
  • Ability to multitask and work under time pressure

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Nutrition, or Hotel Management
  • 1–2 years of experience in food service or guest relations (healthcare/hospital setting preferred)
  • Basic training in food hygiene and safety
  • Knowledge of medical diets is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
