Accountant

Job Title: Accountant Location: Hyderabad Job Type: Full-time Department: Finance & Accounts Reports to: Finance Manager / CFO Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy and compliance in financial documentation. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update general ledger and accounting records. Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements. Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and reconciliation. Manage tax filings, TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance. Monitor bank transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and internal audits. Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely audit completion. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, etc.). Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP). Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Knowledge of tax laws and compliance (GST, TDS, etc.). Preferred Qualifications:CA Inter / CMA / MBA in Finance is a plus. Experience in [industry-specific experience, e.g., manufacturing, retail, services]. Knowledge of ERP systems.
