Operating for over 35 years, we have grown from supporting 10 children to now serving 4,000 students across our four schools in Patna and Jamshedpur. Our institutes include Baldwin Academy, Baldwin FAH School, Baldwin's Sophia, and Baldwin Sophia's Play School.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant, located in Patna. The Accountant will be responsible for handling the accounting operations of the school including the preparation of financial statements, management of budgets, payroll processing, and handling student fee records. The role will also involve ensuring compliance with financial regulations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and providing financial reports to school management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Accounting Skills and Handling of Tally Accounting Software
• Familiarity with GAAP
• Financial Management and Budgeting skills
• Proficiency in Payroll Processing and Handling Student Fee Records
• Knowledge of Financial Regulations and Compliance requirements
• Strong Analytical and Attention to Detail skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in the education sector is a plus
