Accountant

Role Overview: You will be joining a well-established sport showroom located in Thambanoor as an Accountant. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all financial activities of the showroom, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our financial processes and contributing to the continued growth of our business. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws. - Oversee the reconciliation of bank statements and manage cash flow effectively. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. - Monitor financial performance and provide insights to management for decision-making. - Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and prepare necessary documentation. - Maintain and update financial systems and software to improve efficiency. - Handle tax filings, including GST, and ensure timely submission of all required documents. - Provide financial support during inventory audits and manage inventory-related financial transactions. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or similar environments. - Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). - Strong knowledge of GST regulations and other relevant tax laws. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Experience in inventory management and reconciliation is a plus. *Please note that this Job Description includes benefits such as Provident Fund, a Day shift schedule, and yearly bonus.
