Job Description

Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all accounting functions, with a critical focus on the financial relationship between the Bengaluru office and our Qatar headquarters. The primary goal is to ensure financial efficiency, accuracy in reporting, and excellent cash flow management through proactive payment follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payment Follow-up (High Priority): Proactively manage and execute high-priority payment follow-up with clients to ensure timely collection of outstanding dues and optimize cash flow.
  • Backend Accounting Operations: Manage daily backend financial transactions and operations, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Invoicing & Documentation: Handle end-to-end processing of invoicing, recording vendor bills, and maintaining systematic documentation for all financial activities.
  • Qatar Backed Process: Liaise closely with the Qatar headquarters to manage all cross-border accounts related processes and reconciliations efficiently.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis for management review, highlighting key financial performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Technical Expertise (Mandatory): Expert proficiency in Tally software is a mandatory requirement.
  • Professional Skills:
  • Demonstrated professional finance management skills and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Possess a deadline mentality with proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet reporting schedules.
  • Super communication skills are required for effective client follow-up and internal reporting.
  • Language Skills:
  • English fluency is a must for official communication and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Malayalam and Hindi is preferred, as it aids in local vendor and client communication.

Working Hours

9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
