Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shop Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, billing and stock entries for our retail outlet. The ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of accounting principles, inventory management, and GST rules applicable for invoicing. Key Responsibilities: Handle day-to-day accounting entries and cash transactions Manage billing, invoicing, and daily sales reports Generate E Invoices and E Way Bills Maintain stock records, inventory reconciliation, and stock audits Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports Enter purchase, sales, and expense data into Tally Prime software Monitor receivables, payables, and handle petty cash management Coordinate with suppliers and handle payment settlements Ensure accuracy in financial records and support audit processes Key Requirements: B.Com or equivalent qualification 1–3 years of experience in retail/shop accounting Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and basic accounting functions Knowledge of GST, billing, and retail inventory management Honest, disciplined, and able to handle responsibilities independently
