Job Description

Microtalk is seeking an experienced Account Manager — Wholesale Voice to manage and grow relationships with global carrier partners. The role requires strong commercial negotiation skills, account development capabilities, and operational coordination to support profitable traffic exchange, ensure high-quality international voice services, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Business Development

  • Manage a portfolio of international carriers and wholesale partners (mobile operators, VoIP providers).
  • Negotiate, implement, and maintain bilateral and unilateral voice agreements (rates, routing, traffic commitments, payment terms).
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to increase traffic volumes and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships through regular communication and excellent service.

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Track revenue, margins, traffic trends, and payment cycles for assigned accounts.
  • Prepare and negotiate pricing proposals, routing strategies, and commercial offers.
  • Conduct margin analysis and ensure alignment with internal commercial policies.
  • Coordinate with the Finance team for payment follow-ups, dispute resolution, and timely invoicing.

Operational Coordination

  • Work closely with the NOC to maintain high ASR, ACD, and overall QoS.
  • Address and escalate quality issues, routing inconsistencies, or fraud alerts.
  • Oversee routing changes, testing, and activation of new interconnections.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of agreements, rate sheets, and traffic details.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports and business pipeline updates.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
  • Provide internal insights on partner behavior, pricing movements, and quality variations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in wholesale telecom (Voice/SMS).
  • Strong understanding of A–Z termination, bilateral deals, and margin management.
  • Excellent negotiation and commercial skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and proficiency in Excel.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
