Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of books, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Cost Accounting & Inventory Control

• Monitor and manage cost accounting processes including BOM (Bill of Materials), standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Analyze product costing and margins, identify inefficiencies, and recommend cost-saving strategies.
• Ensure accurate valuation and accounting of raw materials, WIP (Work in Progress), and finished goods inventory.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze actual vs. budgeted performance and provide actionable insights to management.

Accounts Payable/Receivable & Treasury

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Manage vendor payments, customer collections, and aging analysis.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure process efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within the finance function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing; experience in jewelry or luxury goods is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation, GST, and compliance is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
