About the Role

Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review project progress, gather feedback, and address concerns.
  • Maintain long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Project Coordination

  • Schedule and facilitate client meetings, demos, and reviews with technical teams.
  • Capture detailed meeting notes and share action points with internal teams.
  • Monitor project progress using tools like Jira (or similar project management tools).
  • Business Growth & Upselling

  • Identify opportunities to upsell support, AMC services, or additional projects.
  • Actively engage clients for testimonials, referrals, and case studies.
  • CRM & Documentation

  • Update and manage all client-related information, tasks, and interactions in Zoho CRM (or any CRM tool).
  • Maintain accurate records of communications, opportunities, and follow-ups.
  • Collaboration

  • Work closely with technical, sales, and support teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for their requirements and experience.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, or similar client-facing role in IT or service-based industries.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Zoho preferred) and project management tools (Jira or similar).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with clients.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and driving client success.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with upselling/cross-selling IT services or AMC contracts.
  • Familiarity with SaaS environments or software development projects.
  • Basic understanding of business processes in service delivery.
