About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive/Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with GST and other statutory requirements, and support financial decision-making. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting software, GST filing, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts (sales, purchase, expenses, payments, receipts).

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) on time.

• Reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) with GSTR-2A/2B.

• Handle TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.

• Manage vendor and client invoicing, billing, and payment follow-ups.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Support auditors during statutory/internal audits.

• Implement and improve processes for cost control and financial efficiency.

• Maintain proper records for compliance and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting (B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter preferred).

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting roles (construction/interior industry experience is a plus).

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally ERP / Odoo / Zoho Books / QuickBooks).

• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
