Account Executive

Location: Bhuj, Kutchh, Gujarat Experience: 5+ Years Accounting & Taxation Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to manage and oversee our organization's accounting and taxation processes. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in handling SAP-based accounting systems, TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities SAP Accounting: Manage day-to-day accounting operations using SAP, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. GST Compliance: Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), perform reconciliation of GSTR-2B, and ensure timely payment of GST liabilities. TDS & TCS Management: Calculate and deduct TDS/TCS as per applicable rates, prepare and file TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q), and issue TDS certificates. Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws, including income tax, GST, and other statutory requirements. Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and GST/TDS ledgers. Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to accounting and taxation matters. Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting and taxation roles, with hands-on experience in SAP. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and other accounting software. Certifications: CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualifications are a plus. Preferred Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations in Gujarat.
