Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Accountant to join our Finance team in a dynamic FMCG manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update books of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Process invoices, expense claims, and vendor payments in a timely manner.

Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding dues from customers.

Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other monthly closing activities.

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances are met and returns are filed on time.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and data.

Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams for accurate cost and revenue tracking.

Analyze manufacturing overheads, raw material consumption, and inventory valuation.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Finance, Commerce, or related field.

2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing sector.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or ERP systems).

Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.

Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
