Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate books of accounts using
Zoho Books
and
Tally ERP
.
Manage
daily accounting operations
, including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, payment processing, invoicing, and general ledger.
Ensure timely and accurate
GST filings, TDS returns
, and compliance with all statutory requirements.
Prepare and review
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
.
Coordinate with auditors for
internal and statutory audits
.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and working capital requirements.
Reconcile payment gateway accounts (e.g., Razorpay, Paytm, Cashfree, etc.) and marketplace settlements (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
Maintain inventory and cost accounting in coordination with operations.
Liaise with external consultants, CA, and legal advisors for compliance and taxation matters.
Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.
Implement and optimize accounting processes and controls specific to the e-commerce industry.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the
e-commerce domain
.
Proficiency in
Zoho Books and Tally ERP
is a must.
In-depth knowledge of
Indian taxation
: GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC compliance, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience working with
marketplace reconciliation tools
or modules.
Familiarity with
MIS reporting
and
financial forecasting
.
Prior experience coordinating with
external auditors and tax consultants
.
