Account Executive

Job Summary:

The Finance & Accounts Executive is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of financial operations, including salary processing, statutory payments, cost centre creation, and management of creditors and debtors. The role requires close coordination with consultants, auditors, and vendors to maintain seamless accounting and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Salary & Vendor Payments

• Ensure timely processing of monthly salary payments.
• Process and ensure timely payment of professional and consultancy fees in line with company policies and contracts.

2. Statutory Compliance

GST (GSTR 1 & GSTR 3B)

• Coordinate and follow up with DK Parmananda & Co. for timely filing and payment of monthly GST returns (GSTR 1 & 3B).

TDS

• Ensure monthly TDS payments are made on time through regular follow-up and verification.

PF, ESIC & Professional Tax

• Ensure timely payments and filings of PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax every month.

3. Cost Centre & Item Code Management

• Create budget cost centres as per business requirements.
• Ensure timely creation of item codes to facilitate accounting and reporting accuracy.

4. Creditors Management

• Oversee vendor registration ensuring all required statutory and compliance documents are collected and verified.

5. Debtors Management

• Maintain compliance entries on the RJIO Portal.
• Participate in Annual Bank Stock Audit and provide necessary reconciliations.
• Maintain and regularly update customer reconciliation sheets (ensure pending reconciliations are completed).
• Calculate and verify RJIO Debit/Credit Notes pending.
• Review and verify invoices along with all supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping of customer receipts.
• Conduct regular reviews of sales and receivables to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Complete quarterly reconciliation of Form 26AS statements (pending reconciliations to be cleared).

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliances (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, P.Tax).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP, and accounting software.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Time management and multitasking abilities.
